Summertime Is No Time For Your Air Conditioning To Break Down in New York
New York can get hot in the summertime. Not Sahara Desert hot, by any stretch of the imagination, but it might feel that hot on certain days. Residents of NYC and the surrounding regions know that June, July, and August are the months that bring the worst of the heat to the area. In the summer of 2012, we saw 90-degree weather by the end of June. In July, we had ten days over 90-degrees. That's a pretty significant number of days over 90-degrees, considering the average number of days in New York at or above that temperature used to be a lot less back in the day. But things have changed. Hot weather in the summertime is here to stay. And New Yorkers are going to have to get smart about beating the heat.
